About VEER

Our core message is simple: Every entrepreneur deserves an amazing exit. Whether that means developing a plan to enhance value and sellability for a future transaction, facilitating an internal sale to management, employees or partners, or marketing your business to potential buyers from around the world, our team is committed to helping make your exit amazing.

Our “Why”

After a thirty-year career with both CFO and CEO experience for businesses across a variety of industries, VEER founder Bob Lawrence had been involved in dozens of business acquisitions.  Two key lessons stood out for him:

  1. Business owners were at a distinct disadvantage compared to the strategic and financial buyers negotiating to buy their businesses, who often had much more experience with the business valuation and transaction process. Strategic buyers were not riding the same emotional rollercoaster the business owners often found themselves on. The playing field was far from level.

  2. Most businesses—and their owners—were totally unprepared for the business sale process, and were largely unaware of strategies they could follow to enhance both the value and sellability of their businesses.

Leveraging decades of experience managing and acquiring businesses, VEER was launched to provide those business owners with a team of business exit guides to lead them through their exit journeys.
